What started out as an at-home business for Kira Volpi has turned into a successful wholesale designer product distribution company, proving that with determination and passion, anything is possible. Within her first year, CEO Volpi sold over 1.4 million, developed retail chain relationships with over 20 different retail chain buyers, and moved from her home office to a 3000 square foot facility, making the Global Matrix Group quite successful within its industry. Volpi oversees the Global Matrix Group, almost single handedly making the company all that it is today. Volpi supplies retailers with designer cosmetics, skin care products, hair care products, clothing, and accessories. Volpi is responsible for all aspects of the business, creating retail relationships, entering data, making sales projections, and overseeing product pick-up and packing. The Global Matrix Group, however, is not the first time Volpi has worked in the industry. Prior to her own business, Volpi was VP of Sales and Marketing for UT Distributers, a wholesale distribution company of designer fragrances. Volpi went from $0 in sales to $13 million in just three years. Volpi greatly participated in establishing the company as #16 in Dun & Bradsheetâ??s Hottest 100 Companies in 1998. It was there Volpi honed her business skills, and introduced her to the world of designer fashion and beauty. Even in the world of glamour, however, Volpi has fascinating stories of charity and selflessness. While Volpi was working in Costa Rica in the restaurant industry, Hurricane Caesar struck. Local towns lost phone lines and power, and roads to San Jose closed. Volpi and her crew provided shelter from the storm, feeding the tourists and locals stuck in the area. Volpi helped provide clothing to the victims, and used the companyâ??s boat to help transport passengers around the area. It is with that heart and spirit that Volpi provided health and care to her father for the last ten years of his life. Volpi took care of her father every day, from managing his bills to overseeing his medical treatment. Volpi would often spend quality time with him by going to the movies, dining out, and going to the park together. Currently, Volpi is caring for her elderly mother, while managing and operating her successful business. Volpiâ??s ambitious attitude not only reflects in her business savvy, but in her hobbies as well. Volpi finds inspiration in books from Robert Kiyosaki, Tony Robbins, and Nathan Hill. Volpi is a rescue diver, and enjoys snorkeling off the coast of Florida, where she currently resides. Volpi also enjoys horseback riding, hiking, and gourmet cooking. Thanks to her successful designer distribution business, Volpi has been able to travel the world and create great relationships with people all over the world.
